People ask me what makes my work different. Honest answer — I don't know how to do this halfway.

I painted for years. Oil on canvas, the slow kind. What oil painting actually teaches you, if you take it seriously, is that a finished piece isn't created in one moment. It's the product of ten thousand micro-decisions — the layer you let cure one more day instead of rushing it, the highlight that's almost right that you come back and correct because you know the difference. That obsessive attention to what most people will never consciously notice? That came from a canvas. But it transfers exactly.

Baseball reinforced it differently. I pitched through high school, and pitching is a masterclass in invisible input producing visible output. Three seconds on the mound is the result of hundreds of hours of mechanics work, film study, and conditioning nobody ever sees. Mountain sports hammered it in at altitude: you don't summit on the day of the climb. You summit because of the months before it.

When I show up to detail your car in Commerce Township — or anywhere across Oakland County — I bring that whole framework. The wash isn't a wash, it's a full decontamination. The interior isn't a vacuum, it's a systematic extraction down to every seam and crevice. Every step deliberate. Not because it looks impressive from the outside, but because that's what makes the result actually correct.

In 2023 I read Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking — and it genuinely shifted something. The argument is that your thoughts don't just respond to reality, they create it. I believe that completely. Thoughts are more powerful than facts. The facts of a job — a destroyed interior, heavy oxidation, a tight window — are just conditions. What you believe is possible, and the standard you hold in your head before a single product is applied, determines the outcome. I've seen it too many times to think otherwise.

My Catholic faith is the foundation everything else sits on. It isn't something I separate from work — it drives every decision, every interaction, every car. The faith I was raised in demands integrity, care for other people, and a standard of service that has no off switch. When I'm in your driveway, I'm not just completing a transaction. I'm holding myself to something higher. That's where the consistency comes from — not hustle culture, not a highlight reel. Faith in the work, faith in the process, faith that doing right by people is always the right call.
